Why the Truths About Trafficking initiative?

This initiative was created because enough is enough. Sex trafficking is a rampant epidemic in our country. It's not a fad or the latest trend but that seems to be how people treat the issue. There is a big difference in looking like an ally and actually being one.

It has to be about more than drawing red x's on your hands or posting about trafficking on your social media once a year. What if instead of doing the bare minimum, you told someone about what sex trafficking looks like? Not just the simple facts but you educated yourself on the hard stories and sought to share those with others.

These conversations are uncomfortable and people often don't want to hear about the realities of trafficking. But I encourage you to challenge yourself and start a conversation that matters, and I want to arm you with the information to do so.
